(NRA First Step Basic Pistol Course) Exceeds Requirements
Residents of Chicago
You can now possess a firearm at your residence. One of the requirements is that you have classroom and range training. Chicagoland Detective Services, Inc. provides the required training that exceeds the city of Chicago requirements.
The cost of this training is $100.00 and it includes firearm usage (Glock 17) and classroom instruction. FOID card assistance is also available. To guarantee your seat please forward a cashier’s check or money order in the amount of $100.00 to Chicagoland Firearm Training 1903 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago, Illinois 60647. 20 Hour Basic Unarmed Training
Provides Training required to obtain the State of Illinois Certificate of Basic/Refresher Training & assistance in applying for the (PERC) Permanent Employee Registration Card.
The cost for this course is $100.00. Live scan fingerprints & photographs by a State approved vendor are available for an additional charge.
20 Hour Armed Certificate Training
Provides classroom instruction and supervised range instruction required to obtain your State of Illinois Certificate of Firearms Training. This cost also includes the use of a glock 17 firearm & firearm book.
The cost for this course is $100.00. Range fees vary depending on weapons being certified. (approximately $45.00 per weapon)
